Jim Lytle

     I am an independent, ordained pastor who formerly served at churches in Rochester, NY and Charlotte, NC. I have a seminary degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and have many years of experience in singles ministry and family ministry. While serving as an assistant pastor, I noticed how weddings were often a burdensome addition to the busy lives of the pastoral staff. Because I greatly enjoy officiating weddings, I felt a calling to start a service where it is my sole focus.
     I also have many years of experience in broadcast meteorology and currently work occasionally as an on-air meteorologist at WCNC. In Charlotte, I have also worked for WBTV and News 14 Carolina. My broadcast background has given me the ability to enunciate and project well, to ad lib comfortably, and to develop smooth transitions in my public speaking.
     As a Christian, I recognize the spiritual nature of marriage. For this reason, I believe it is a covenant relationship not to be entered into lightly. I love meeting new people and consider it a privilege to partner with couples as they begin their life together.
